My first post is about eBay. Man, I love this site! I have been eBaying for a number of years now, and cannot believe the growth it has done. The fact that you can buy everything from books to houses astonishes me. I have been a big fan of it from the start, doing a lot of both buying and selling. I just purchased a cordless drill that was selling in stores for $289…I got this one for $144 with free shipping! It is refurbished, but comes with a 1 year warranty, and looks brand new. Over the summer, when gas prices were so high, my wife and I started looking for a car instead of driving the truck so much. I was able to find a 1998 Buick Regal GS with 58,000 miles for a lot cheaper than what some of the ones with over 100,000 in my area were going for. I live in Illinois, and the car was in Washington D.C., so we flew out and drove it back, still saving money. Also had a nice litle mini vacation. The other source of a lot of my eBaying is stuff for the car I am currently restoring. I have a 1986 Buick Grand National that I am restoring from the ground up, and will have many posts and pictures up of the process. If there’s a hard to find part for it, eBay usually has it!

There is also huge money making opportunities through eBay, and I not just talking about selling grandma’s trinkets. Many people are making a living online with eBay. I’ll be talking more about this in future posts, and you can also find some info in the recommended links section.
